How to Prepare
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (240°C fan) / 475°F / Gas 9. 2. Put all ingredients (except the oil) into a large bowl with freshly ground black pepper. Mix well until the onion and breadcrumbs combine with the meat. 3. Take a golf ball-sized amount of mixture and roll it into a smooth ball. 4. Shape the meat into long sausages around 7.5cm (3in) in length. 5. Place meatballs on a lined baking tray, ensuring they aren’t touching. Drizzle with a little oil. 6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and cooked through, turning halfway to cook evenly. 7. Cut each sausage into quarters lengthwise for babies from 6 months, and in half lengthwise from 10 months.
