- 450g / 1 lb extra firm Tofu
- 60ml / 2 fl oz strained Passata
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- Small handful Basil leaves
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Drain 450g / 1 lb extra firm Tofu and press with heavy books or pans to remove water. Pat dry with paper towels and slice into 5-mm/1/4-inch thick slices.
3. Lay the Tofu slices on a lined baking sheet, top with 60ml / 2 fl oz strained Passata, spreading it with a spoon.
4. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp Onion powder and 1 tsp dried Italian herbs over the top.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Top with a small handful of Basil leaves and serve warm.
