Ingredients
- 200ml / 6.76fl oz Milk
- 550g / 19.4oz Spelt flour
- 1 tsp Dry yeast
- 5 tbsp Neutral oil
- 100g / 3.52oz Carrot
- 1 Egg yolk
- 100g / 3.52oz Cooked ham
- 200g / 7.05oz Grated cheese
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 550g / 19.4oz Spelt flour
- 1 tsp Dry yeast
- 5 tbsp Neutral oil
- 100g / 3.52oz Carrot
- 1 Egg yolk
- 100g / 3.52oz Cooked ham
- 200g / 7.05oz Grated cheese
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
Preparation
1. Mix 200ml Milk with 150ml hot water.
2. Combine 550g Spelt flour and 1 tsp Dry yeast in a bowl.
3. Add the milk mixture and 2 tbsp Neutral oil, kneading for 5 minutes.
4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
6. Peel and grate 100g Carrot.
7. Beat 1 Egg yolk.
8. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, divide it into 8 pieces, and roll each to 20x25cm.
9. Brush with 1 tsp Neutral oil, layer with Cooked ham, grated Carrot, and 200g Grated cheese. Roll up.
10. Cut into 6cm pieces, place on baking sheets, brush with Egg yolk, and sprinkle with Sesame seeds.
11. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
