Ingredients

1 tbsp Butter, 2 large Eggs, 3 tbsp grated Cheddar cheese

Preparation

1. Heat 1 tbsp Butter in a small frying pan and grease it well. 2. Whisk 2 large Eggs in a bowl and pour them into the hot, greased pan. Move the pan around to spread the mixture out evenly. Cook on medium to low heat. 3. When the omelette begins to cook and firm up, top one half with 3 tbsp grated Cheddar cheese. 4. Allow the cheese to melt a little then use a spatula to ease around the edge of the omelette and fold it in half. 5. Slide the omelette onto a plate and leave for a few seconds for the cheese to melt and for the omelette to cool slightly before serving.
