Ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- 600ml / 20.29fl oz Milk
- 2 tsp pure Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp heaped Cornflour
- 600ml / 20.29fl oz Milk
- 2 tsp pure Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp heaped Cornflour
Preparation
1. Mash 2 Bananas in a saucepan until smooth.
2. Add 600ml / 20.29fl oz Milk and 2 tsp pure Vanilla extract to the bananas.
3. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, whisking well.
4. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp Milk with 2 tbsp heaped Cornflour until smooth.
5. Once the milk mixture is simmering, add the cornflour mixture and whisk constantly until thickened (3-5 minutes).
6. If the custard is too thick, add a splash of Milk to adjust the consistency.

Good to know
The custard will thicken as it cools. Can be refrigerated for 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Defrost and warm with extra milk if needed.
