Ingredients
2 pitted Medjool dates, 60ml / 2.03fl oz Extra virgin olive oil, 2 peeled Garlic cloves, 2 tbsp minced Red onion, 1 tbsp minced Fresh ginger, 240ml / 8.12fl oz Raw almond butter, 1 tbsp Raw honey, 1 tbsp Nama shoyu or coconut aminos, 1 small-medium Lemon juice, 0.25 tsp Cayenne pepper, 60ml / 2.03fl oz Water
Preparation
1. Put 2 pitted Medjool dates in warm water for 5 minutes to soften. 2. Drain the dates and combine with 60ml / 2.03fl oz extra virgin olive oil, 2 peeled garlic cloves, 2 tbsp minced red onion, 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger, 240ml / 8.12fl oz raw almond butter, 1 tbsp raw honey, 1 tbsp nama shoyu or coconut aminos, juice of 1 small-medium lemon, 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper, and 60ml / 2.03fl oz water in a high-speed blender. 3. Blend on high until smooth, adding more water as needed to reach desired consistency. 4. Use immediately or transfer to a jar, cover, and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
